I made this website in about an hour and is in no way complete however it shows what I would consider to be the start for a good layout for a homepage.
The website was made using Dreamweaver and is constructed mainly of tables.
It likes a good start to me with a sound choice of font and colour. There is rather a lot of space between some of the items on my screen. CSS will allow us to remedy that by giving us a lot more control over things.
